Chizuru YUKIMURA

Chizuru Yukimura is a young woman who lives in Kyoto with her father, a doctor. One day, she witnesses a group of men in red fighting with a group of men in black. She is caught in the crossfire and is injured, but is saved by a man named Hijikata Toshizo. Hijikata takes Chizuru to his home, where she is nursed back to health. Chizuru learns that the men in red are the Shinsengumi, a group of samurai who are fighting to protect the city from the rebels. She also learns that the men in black are the Kiheitai, a group of samurai who are working for the rebels. Chizuru decides to help the Shinsengumi, and she becomes a spy for them. She learns about the Kiheitai's plans, and she helps the Shinsengumi to defeat them. Chizuru also falls in love with Hijikata, and they eventually get married. They have a son together, and they live happily ever after.
